Sound and Breath Wellness Class

March 8 & March 22 @ 5PM

March 8 & March 22 @ 5PM

Join us for an immersive Sound & Breath class designed to calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, and restore balance from within. Set against the natural beauty of Vancouver Island, this guided session blends intentional breathwork with the therapeutic resonance of sound.

About the Class:

We will start the class with some gentle somatic movement to help drop into our bodies, which may look tapping, or toning. We will then flow into our breathe for about 45 mins, then close our session with a 15 mins sound healing session and sharing circle. The focus of this class is to help regulate your nervous system through the power of gentle breathwork. An invitation to come back into the body and out of all that mind chatter.

New to breathwork? No problem, this class is welcome to all levels. Catherine is a certified Trauma Informed Breathwork Facilitator. Catherine incorporates techniques from BBTRS (Biodynamic Breathwork Trauma Release System) including movement, bodywork and sound. Catherine will go over everything in class, reminding you that there is no right or wrong way to breathe. Just listen to what feels best for you, remembering you are always in control. Safety is a top priority for Catherine and she is most known for holding safe and transformative spaces during her sessions. A part of her intention with these breathes is to help release old narratives, tap into inner child wounding, and alchemize the emotions you are ready to acknowledge and work through.

Conscious Connected Circular

The style of breathwork she teaches is called Conscious Connected Circular breathing. Focusing on resetting the nervous system, letting go of old stories, and aiding in the release of trauma, anxiety and stress.  As a trauma informed facilitator, safety is a top priority for her,  and she is most known for holding safe and transformative spaces during her sessions. Catherine is here to remind you of the inner power and strength that resides within you, and that you are your own healer. You are the one doing the work! As Tony Robins says, “ I am not your Guru.” You will often hear auditory cues in her sessions, encouraging you to tap into your inner strength and your inner healer.  Her breathing sessions explore themes around, reclamation, empowerment, trust, and deep surrender.
